A graphic exploration of secondary market value of Rick Astley collectibles from the 80s; this collection of 60 unique 1/1 NFTs work together with the artist book DEAR RICK ASTLEY PLEASE FORGIVE ME as a conceptual art project about long term collectible value and authenticity. The NFTs are numbered in the order they appear in the book.
Each drawing was made from Rick Astley memorabilia being sold on the web as reference and hand drawn exactly as the original listing appeared, the item descriptions also reflect that of the original listing’s. Properties include how the product was styled and photographed by the seller, as well as how Rick appears in the image. See the entire collection on Open Sea.
